The Throne in My Side

The Protagonist: Maya Vance, a brilliant but struggling interior designer whose business is one bad month away from folding. The Rival: Julian Thorne, a high-end real estate mogul known as "The Ice King" because he’s ruthless and—crucially—he once fired Maya's firm over a minor disagreement. The Conflict: Julian needs to appear "likable" and "stable" to secure a massive historic renovation contract from a very traditional board. Maya needs the massive commission that only Julian can provide.
