The narration needed improvement to match the story, but it was full of secrets, intrigue, something like fate, and the main character learning to use their wits to navigate assassins (some who’d been told they’d destroy the world from the cursed beings plaguing it instead of destroying the curse itself), people trying to gain trust to use their power, politics & negotiation to gain trust from VERY unhappy distrustful people, and deciding who could be trusted or who was one of the other categories.

This story has an acceptable ending though would have love it better if the emperor was being dealt with too but then it is good enough. At least better ending than Diana Defence. Love the voice. Same voice as Diana Defence. I love the main characters. However, there was so much buildup on the side characters, the writer could have continue the stories for Myra's friends. But overall, I still love this story.

the story plot is great. but the only issue is the narrator. she speaks very slowly. but if you speed up the narration, it makes it much better and easier to listen to. overall I love it though
