A disgraced scholar tumbles through a crack in reality, landing in a world woven from myth and living light, where ancient magic pulses and stars sing. Kairos, a man who once laughed at legends, now finds himself bound by a mysterious torc to a place called the Source, a vibrant nexus of transformed beings and forgotten gods. But this breathtaking realm, guarded by the Circle of Seven, faces an existential threat: a hairline crack in the very fabric of existence, seeping a void known only as the Null. As the Keepers debate desperate, ancient solutions, Kairos, the newest and most unlikely Walker, must confront not only the encroaching emptiness but also the possibility that his fresh perspective might be the only hope against a silence that promises to swallow all stories. Can one man, burdened by his past, find a new way to fight an enemy that seeks to unmake reality itself?
