Hiiro wasn’t a hero in his first life. At seventeen, he was a street punk who spent more time fighting, playing video games, and picking on people weaker than him than thinking about his future. Then he met a girl who made him want to change. For the first time, Hiiro began to believe he could become someone better. He died protecting her before he got the chance. But death wasn’t the end. [SYSTEM REBOOT COMPLETE.] Hiiro awakens in another world in the middle of a bloody clash between rival clans. Magic is real. Monsters roam beyond the safety of civilization. A person’s strength is measured by the power of their Soul and when the warriors around him discover Hiiro’s Soul is Level 0, they see nothing but easy prey. They’re about to make a terrible mistake. Armed with a mysterious System that can analyze enemies, reconstruct skills, and grow alongside him, Hiiro has been given something he never expected: a second chance. Every battle can make him stronger. Every monster can teach him something new. Every choice can shape the man he becomes. Hiiro spent his first life hurting people weaker than himself. In this world, he intends to protect them. But as his impossible abilities begin attracting the attention of powerful clans, monsters, and forces that should never have noticed a Level 0 nobody, Hiiro discovers that his reincarnation may not have been an accident. The System didn’t just save him. It brought him here for a reason.

Love this story. It’s not predictable, has a strong focus on character relationships and decent battle scenes without over doing them. Character development is very well paced as well. A bonus is that the characters actually keep their names consistently throughout the story. (Quite a few other stories randomly change characters names half way through) The humour is refreshing, my only con would be that the writer has spread the same humour to many other characters as well instead of keeping it as the specific team vibe. Love that the story keeps me guessing as to who is behind it all. Very well done.

I like the story for it's originality and it's humor.
