The Cursed Throne

On an island named Bloomfield, there lived a king and his queen who were loved so much by their subjects because of how kind and generous they were. Their reign was peaceful, and the land was always full of beauty and bountiful harvest. As prosperous as they were though, these monarchs weren't happy. They didn't have a child of their own and would love to be parents. They invited all sorts of witches and offered many sacrifices to deities so they could have their children but all to no avail because of the epic curse on the throne. The queen wouldn't give up, though, and longed to have a child of her own. One day, their prayers were answered, and the queen conceived. A day after the princess' birth, a strange witch from a foreign land gave a prophecy that the princess would be the death of the kingdom and also their Saviour.
