Shadow Hunter

Hundreds of years ago, a priestess of Kalagram, Mayavi, was burned to death by the villagers for no reason. Mayavi was a woman who healed the sick with herbs and mantras. There was magic in her smile, and peace in her voice. But when a famine struck the village, people accused her of being a witch. She was tied up and thrown into the fire. In her last breaths, she cursed: "My soul will never let this village rest. Whoever burns me, his seven generations will burn in my shadow!" Her death gave birth to a negative energy, which the villagers now called the Chhaya Rani.
