Swaraj Ke Dho Chehre
This is the story of two women—Ananya and Meera, friends who share the same bond but opposite visions for their country. Ananya is the guardian of roots, determined to preserve India’s lost knowledge, culture, manuscripts, and heritage. Meera is fire, believing that freedom can only be earned through blood, weapons, and direct rebellion. Their paths differ—Ananya protects the roots, Meera lights the fire—but destiny drags them together into the most painful and decisive chapters of Indian history. The journey begins in modern India, where they question—“Is this truly freedom?”—as they witness corruption, women’s exploitation, broken promises, and false heroes. Then, a mysterious book pulls them back in time. They witness and live through—Jallianwala Bagh, Quit India, Bose’s INA, the Partition, and finally further back to the Battle of Plassey in 1757. At first, they are only witnesses, but soon they realize—they can interfere, they can change history. This is not just a story of independence, but of betrayal, greed, and the eternal question: “Did we really gain freedom, or were we left hollow when they had nothing left to loot?” It is a saga of friendship, sacrifice, and the fire of two women who refuse to be silenced.
