Shabnam, a worker in a posh brothel in Lucknow during the British Raj, is thrown into a tail-wagging accident when she witnesses her mother Razia being brutally murdered. That night, Shabnam comes across a document that points to a top-secret British mission. Shabnam now turns her pain into a weapon. She begins singing and playing in British clubs where British officers openly talk of conspiracies. She slowly gets to know their secrets – identifying her enemies one by one.
